when i was young, i used to be very naughty. life then was like a glaball ,shining with bright colours. i had once gone down to the river bank, catching a great many worms and was afterwards punished by mum. i had ever cut the pillow towel into pieces in order to make clothes for my dolls. similarly, i was then blamed seriously. once i even put the hot iron on the floor which immediately burnt a big hole on the carpet. although i had done so many annoying things, my childhood seemed to be rather colourful. however, i had never had a clear definition about myself. but then something happened. it had made a great difference to my life and made who i am now.

i had always been afraid of having the intravenous drop in hospital. the first time i was taken to have the drop, i cried for almost half an hour and finally gave off at father's severe scolding. watching the cold needle stabbing into my skin, i cried even more loudly. at that time, i never dared to take a glance at my hand and always needed my mother to stay with me at my side. even if mum had told me many times,“ honey, there’s nothing to be scared of. just close your eyes and sleep.” i would still keep my eyes wide open, watching the liquid flow through the bottle and never slept.

nevertheless, things just happened in a casual way. when i caught a high fever again when young, mum had to send for the doctor home to treat me. i was so sick that i became quite drowsy and then slept. when i suddenly woke up in the afternoon, i found the liquid in the bottle had already flown over ,while mum and dad were not around. i yelled, but finally found it was of no use. so i jumped out of the bed and pulled up the tubule. in the nature of things, the blood came out and dropped along the way i went downstairs. things became different at the time i went down alone. i discovered that i could be independent. i was much stronger than i had thought. looking back on the girl who cried all day, i came to understand suddenly that the strong part of the inner myself had been existing all the time. seeing the anxious mum, i revealed a big smile to her. i could see that mum was trying to hold her tears back and scrubbed my blood on the hand. she didn't know that her little girl had stealthily grown up.

different people have different ideas about success; cause people's hopes and ideas vary from one another. but i am sure every success is dear to everybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cause in the process of our striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility. these are the best treasures. so now i am very proud that i have this opportunity to stand here speaking to all of you. it is my success, cause i raise up to challenge my hope.

Therefore before you go to C hina, go to the local Chinese restaurant, if not to find authentic Chinese food, at least you ca n practi ce the use of chopsticks. If in your fir st meal in China you don't have to use chopst icks, then if you still can't handle the two stick s to pick up a big shrimp in your tenth meal, y ou show your incompetence in learning and t he willingness to learn.

Place mushroom caps, gill-side up, on the prepared pan. Sprinkle with 1/8 teaspoon salt and pepper. Roast until tender, about 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, oil, the remaining 1/8 teaspoon salt and pepper in a small bowl. Remove the mushrooms from the oven and top each cap with about 2 tablespoons of the breadcrumb mixture, spreading evenly. Return to the oven and roast until the breadcrumbs are browned, about 5 minutes.

我今天国旗下讲话的主题是《共建“敬廉崇洁”的美丽校园》。

本学期我校全面推开廉洁文化进校园活动的各项工作，十月份向全校师生分发了《廉洁文化进校园倡议书》，各班如召开了“敬廉崇洁”主题班会，并制作了特色各异、主题集中的黑板报;举办了“敬廉崇洁”手抄报比赛;初一年、初二年、高一年“廉洁文化进校园”合唱比赛也即将举行，目前各班正在紧张有序的准备当中。一系列的活动使同学们对敬廉崇洁有了一定的理解，在此基础上，今天我将在这里与同学们弄清三个问题：

一、中学生为什么要讲廉洁?

廉洁自律是中华民族的传统美德，古往今来，有多少清正廉洁、务实为民的清官廉吏受到百姓的崇敬与爱戴，他们的形象深入人心，他们的故事久久传颂。一代清吏包公、海瑞的故事热映荧屏，久演不衰;人民公仆孔繁森、牛玉儒、任长霞的事迹震撼人心，影响甚广。无论历史如何变迁，无论时代怎样发展，廉洁永远是时代的呼唤，廉洁永远是人民的期盼。

我们青少年正处在人生观、世界观、价值观逐渐形成的关键时期，叶圣陶说过“好习惯要从小养成。”要想在成年后受人尊重、有所成就。我们就必须从小人养成“以廉为荣、以贪为耻”的良好品德，从小一身正气，成年后方能刚正不阿。所以，今天我们再谈“廉洁”，大家都知道廉洁不仅仅是大人的事，也是我们同学们的事，是我们每一个人的事。

二、对于中学生来说廉洁的含义是什么?

而《现代汉语字典》中对“廉洁”的解释为：不损公肥私，不贪污。而对于我们中学生来说廉洁自律不仅是不贪不沾，而应该是落实在思想正、灵魂净、心灵洁。廉洁就是责任、节俭、自律、奉献、知耻、诚实、惜物、不昧金、不攀比。

三、中学生如何践行“敬廉崇洁”?

第一、积极投身廉政文化进校园主题活动，自觉参与，带头实践，培养“廉洁、诚信、公正、俭朴”的品德，争做社会主义“四有”新人。

第二、坚持从小做起、从日常小事做起、从点点滴滴做起，把廉洁、诚信、公正、俭朴等优良品德的养成贯穿于学习、生活和为人行事的一言一行之中，节制贪欲，不为物所诱、不为利所惑，洁身自好、廉洁自守。

第三、分辨“公”与“私”，学会尊重别人的所有权，公共的东西要爱护，不能占为己有，也不能去随意损坏，从小就能够“公”“私”分明。在个人利益和集体利益矛盾的时候，要知道先公后私，要懂得正确处理的方法，心中有别人、心中有人民、心中有集体，

第四、从小养成喜欢自己、乐于与同学交往、懂得关心家人、尊敬老人、诚实守信、遵纪守法的良好思想道德品质，真诚待人，在人与人的交往中，坚持说真话、不说假话，信守诺言、诚实做人。

第五、为人处事要公平正直，坚持实事求是、客观公正、不偏不倚地待人接物、评判是非和处理问题。

第六、要发扬艰苦奋斗的优良传统，勤俭节约，不奢侈、不浪费、不贪虚荣、不图享乐，以俭励志，从小养成艰苦朴素、勤奋好进的优良品质。

第七、遵纪守法，自觉遵守学校的各项规章制度，学会自省，经常能够自我检查，通过反思，认识自己，及时改正缺点。从小培养对自己、对家庭、对社会的责任感。

以廉为荣、以贪为耻。我们广大的同学其实早已行动起来，本学期学校涌现的好人好事多达一百多人次，其中有捡到手机、钱包、餐卡、mp3、手表等贵重财物，也有校徽、红领巾、钥匙等物品，这种拾金不昧的精神就是廉洁精神的体现;我们全校2600多名学生将节省下来的零花钱捐作慈善捐款，奉献自己的爱心;每天，各班级值日生辛勤的打扫，使我们的校园更加整洁。

越是没本事的人，越觉得读书无用。

刘媛媛是农村出来的孩子，她觉得自己非常幸运，是因为她父母虽然没怎么读过书，却坚定的认为，读书很重要。所以吃再多的苦，也要供所有的孩子读书，让他们上大学。

读书与不读书，过的是不一样的人生。

锻炼与不锻炼的人，隔一天看，没有任何区别;隔一个月看，差异甚微;但是隔五年十年看，身体和精神状态上就有了巨大差别。读书也是一样的道理，读书与不读书的人，日积月累，终成天渊之别。

今天多学一点知识，明天就少一句求人的话。

有人问，女孩子上那么久的学、读那么多的书，最终不还是要回到一座平凡的城市，打一份平常的工，嫁作人妇，洗衣煮饭，相夫教子，何苦折腾?

我想，我们的坚持是为了，就算最终跌入繁琐，洗尽铅华，同样的工作，却有不一样的心境，同样的家庭，却有不一样的情调，同样的后代，却有不一样的素养。

龙应台曾经给儿子安德烈的信中写道：“我要求你读书用功，不是因为我要你跟别人比成就，而是因为，我希望你将来拥有更多选择的权利，选择有意义，有时间的工作，而不是被迫谋生。”

李嘉诚说：“读书虽然不能给我带来更多财富，但它可以给我们带来更多机会。”

有一段父子之间的经典对话，告诉了我们努力读书和不读书的大不同。

儿子刚上学不久就问当农民的父亲，人为什么要读书。父亲说，一颗小树长1年的话，只能用来做篱笆，或当柴烧;的树可以做檩条;的树用处就大了，可以做粱，可以做柱子，可以做家具。一个小孩子如果不上学，他7岁就可以放羊，长大了能放一大群羊，但他除了放羊，基本干不了别的。

如果小学毕业，在农村，他可以用一些新技术种地，在城市可以到建筑工地打工，做保安，也可以当个小商小贩，小学的知识够用了;如果初中毕业，他就可以学习一些机械的操作了;如果高中毕业，他就可以学习很多机械的修理了;如果大学毕业，他就可以设计高楼大厦，铁路桥梁了;如果他硕士博士毕业，他就可能发明创造出一些我们原来没有的东西。

“知道了吗?”儿子说：“知道了。”

爸爸又问：“放羊、种地、当保安，丢不丢人?”儿子说：“丢人。”

我们必须承认，世界是有一些不公平的，他们家庭富裕，拥有很多资源，有很多优越的条件我们都没有，他们有很多的捷径，我们也没有，但是我们不能抱怨。

每一个人的人生都是不尽相同的，有些人出生就含着金钥匙，有些人出生连爸妈都没有。人生跟人生是没有可比性的，我们的人生是怎么样，完全决定于我们自己的感受。

你一辈子都在感受抱怨，那你的一生就是抱怨的一生，你一辈子都在感受感动，那你的一生就是感动的一生。

英国有一部纪录片，叫做《人生7年》。

片中访问了12个来自不同阶层的7岁的小孩，每7年过去，在回去重新访问这些小孩，到了最后就发现，富人的孩子，还是富人，穷人的孩子还是穷人。

他最后成功了吗?我不得而知。但凭他在桌上刻字的锲而不舍的精神，我相信他一定是可以成功的。我眼前似乎出现了这样一幅画面：刚考完试，看到划满叉的试卷，泪水在眼眶里打转，却只是默默地拿出小刀，刻那个1字刻在桌上，疼在心里。那样倔强而又不服输的身影，真和我有些相像呢。

自他以后，这张桌子还会有很多主人，他们看到这个1字时会不会震撼，会不会激起他们的梦想与斗志呢?我胡乱猜想着，但我知道，这个1字给我带来了很大影响，每次看到这个1字，我都会_澎湃，斗志昂扬。这不仅是雕刻者的目标，更是我的目标。这个鲜红的1字始终刻在我的脑海里，激励我为之而奋斗。后来我终于取得了第一，我抚摸着桌上的1字，喃喃的说：“我成功了……”像对自己说，又像是对它当年的主人说。

理想信念使贫困的人变成富翁，使黑暗中的人看见光明，使绝境中的人看到希望，使梦想变成现实。

下面我给大家讲一个故事：

浩瀚的沙漠中，一支探险队在艰难地跋涉。头顶骄阳似火，烤得探险队员们口干舌燥，挥汗如雨。最糟糕的是，他们没有水了。水就是他们赖以生存的信念，信念破灭了，一个个像塌了架，丢了魂，不约而同地将目光投向队长。这可怎么办?

队长从腰间取出一个水壶，两手举起来，用力晃了晃，惊喜地喊道：“哦，我这里还有一壶水!但穿越沙漠前，谁也不能喝。”

沉甸甸的水壶从队员们的手中依次传递，原来那种濒临绝望的脸上又显露出坚定的神色，一定要走出沙漠的信念支撑他们踉跄着，一步一步地向前挪动。看着那水壶，他们抿抿干裂的嘴唇，陡然增添了力量。

终于，他们死里逃生，走出茫茫无垠的沙漠，大家喜极而泣之时，久久凝视着那个给了他们信念支撑的水壶。

队长小心翼翼地拧开水壶盖，缓缓流出的却是一缕缕沙子。他诚挚地说：“只要心里有坚定的信念，干枯的沙子有时也可以变成清冽的泉水。”

黑人马丁·路德金有句名言：“这个世界上，没有人能够使你倒下。如果你自己的信念还站立着的话。”是的，即使在最困难的时候，也不要熄灭心中信念的火把。
