巴尔扎克曾经说这样一名明言：苦难是人生的老师。对此，我感到深信不疑，因为不经历风雨，怎么才能见到那美丽的彩虹。有些人很依赖于别人，不通过自已的努力，只是沉静在小皇帝的自我世界里，一遇到困难就像缩头乌龟一样，不能勇敢面对;而有些人，不怕困难，在困难面前勇敢前进，无论是在学习中，还是生活里都能够做到更好。这两种人就如仙人掌和玫瑰一样，比如仙人掌的耐力很强，在恶劣的环境里，也能顽强的生长，而且还能开出美丽的花朵，显示出勃勃生机，而玫瑰就如温室的花朵，外表很是美丽，生长确是困难，如果几天不给它浇水，就会枯萎。这两种植物，由于仙人掌独立，玫瑰依赖，前者总是比后者容易存活。这不就是独立和依赖的写照吗?植物只有先根深而后叶茂，只有在不确定的环境中独立自主向底下扎根的植物，才能生存下来，我们不也是这样吗?在生活中，只有将困难转化成动力，才能搏击风雨，站立在高峰之上，而总是依赖别人的人，在困难到来之时，总是吓的不敢前进，却哪知：不经一番寒彻骨，怎得梅花扑鼻香的道理。吃得苦中苦，主为人上人。

从前，有一个人，他恳求上帝，让这一年风调雨顺，使他种的庄稼获得好的收成，上帝答应了他的请求，但是到了秋天，他的庄稼却是没有任何的收成，他去质问上帝这是为什么，上帝告诉他：没有经历风雨的庄稼是不会获的累累的果实的。所以说：只有千锤百炼，烈火焚烧，也能炼出好的钢铁来;我们只有经历困难的磨练，才会为自己的生活增光添彩。
