9月底的时候，我到了美国洛杉矶。我准备开一辆车，从洛杉矶到加拿大的温哥华，行程是两千多公里，而且是我一个人开。

这段旅程就像是一次创业。第一，有目标，我要到温哥华；第二，要有能力——我会开车，而且我还喜欢长途开车，这就相当于创业者的能力；第三，要有时间设定——你到底要开多长时间。我估计时间是3天，但是如果有可能的话，我想尽量缩短时间，2天开完。路径以及到什么地方休息，我都计划好了。好吧，开始上路。

我设想美国的高速公路是不堵车的，没想到刚开入洛杉矶高速公路就开始堵车，跟北京一样，一点点挪。计划全部被打乱了，我本来想只需开20分钟，但结果开了1小时30多分钟才开出洛杉矶。

我曾经在西雅图开过车，没发现堵车。但我第二天开到西雅图的时候，刚好是下午五六点。这意味着什么呢？又堵车了。我原先计劃在某处休息，现在不得不临时变动，幸亏我没有預订宾馆，否则会很麻烦。

另一个遇到的问题是，一直盯着仪表盘，每一公里开过去都觉得时间好长。两千多公里什么时候才能开完？心里充满焦虑。但是后来我发现，当我把注意力转向外面的风景，转向车里的音乐，完全不去看公里数时，你会发现50公里很快就开过去了。

我回想我当时创业的时候，一点都不觉得苦，每天早上六七点起来工作，晚上10点或11点才回家，但是我内心是欢乐的。我人生最幸福的一段时光，是刚开始做新东方的时候。那时我没有压力——第一，我没有投资的压力；第二，我这个人胸无大志，来二十五个学生我开心，来十三个学生我也开心。

其实，要把一件事做大，从本质上说都是一样的——有做这件事情的兴趣，慢慢地抓住各种要点，从客户到员工，到产品设计，尽量做到最好，这样既有成功的喜悦，又在为社会提供有价值的服务。而多少人败在急功近利上，就像死盯着仪表盘，心里只会产生焦躁。

没想到，我把车从美国开到加拿大时，意外发生了，这跟创业遇到意外是一样的。

海关官员跟我说：“你怎么开美国车？你是中国护照。”我开的车是借朋友的。他问：“你朋友的'身份是美国公民还是加拿大公民？”我说：“是加拿大公民。”他说：“这辆车是辆新车，如果是加拿大公民必须办进口手续，才能开进加拿大，你只能把车开回美国。”

我离目的地只有25公里了，我跟警察好说歹说，用尽了所有的幽默感，警察就是不同意。没办法，掉头重新回美国。

我来到一个小镇的加油站，加油站的主人是一个老头，我说这辆车不能开到加拿大，能不能停在这里，他说可以，每天交5块钱就行。我把车停在那里，等朋友以后再开到加拿大去。这就是创业，你自以为到达目的地了，却被别人一巴掌打了回去。

但无论如何，我只想告诉大家，创业其实就是寻着你的目标，寻着正道，补充好能量，向着目标一直前进。

所以建议带上睡袋，以备不时之需。进入九寨沟住宿就贵起来了，一般的无电视四人间也要上百元一人。

食：兰州和成都的美食那是全国闻名的，到了那里，第一任务就是要吃遍正宗美食。进入甘南藏族自治州后，如拉卜楞寺、若尔盖等地饮食一般以川味为主，大概5～10元就能吃饱了，草原旅行一定少不了牛羊肉，建议最好多吃水果少吃肉，以防引起胃肠不适。另外，在九寨沟内的饮食较贵，最好带干粮。

游：九寨沟黄龙的水虽不敢说是世界上最美的'，但在这里水构成了一个童话世界;甘南的草原虽然不是最宽阔的，但是它却包含了草原上最美的风光;阿坝的藏族风情虽然不是惟一的，但是它却孕育了像拉布楞寺这样的佛教圣地。从兰州出发，细细品味甘南川北的种种特色，然后走近壮观的都江堰工程，感受青城山的仙风道骨，最后慢慢地靠近蓉城成都。

An Eye-witness Account of a Traffic Accident The car accident happened at about 7:30 on the morning of April 6th, when I was on my way to school.

It was raining heavily, and the road was very slippery. Three little boys were going in front of me, each riding on a bike, talking loudly with each other while they rode. One of the boys didnt weara raincoat; instead he was holding an umbrella in one hand, and the handle of the bike in another. I like to stay away from my parents for some time, because I can make my own choice and be free to go anywhere. My friends and I like to spend the weekend in the countryside that near the city we live.
