大学英语四、六级考试已引起全国各高等院校及有关教育领导部门对大学英语教学的重视，调动了师生的积极性。按教学大纲的要求反映我国大学生的英语水平，因此有力地推动了大学英语教学大纲的贯彻实施，同时也促进了我国大学英语教学水平的提高。随着种种教学大纲的落实，高校对四六级英语的重视，使一批又一批的形形色色的英语培训机构也油然而生。带动了一个新的产业-----考试产业，这也顺应了中国的改革，但对于各色各类的培训机构，学生们是如何选择，究竟某些培训机构的优势在哪里呢？针对这一问题，我们在老师和同学帮助下对广东药学院中山校区的学生在英语学习的信心、兴趣、方法和对英语培训机构的了解等方面进行了一次比较全面的调查。
问题：您希望得到哪方面的英语提升？
经过我们的问卷调查以及对问卷本题的数据分析，我们不难发现在大学校园内的学生觉得应试类（四六级英语）的英语是他们最重要的英语类型。数据显示，有75%的男生选择自己的应试类英语可以得到提高，有66%的女生也是选择自己的应试类英语可以得到提高。从以上数据看来，大多数在校大学生都想自己的应试类英语首先得到提高。 对此我们就深究此现象的出现，作出了推断。大学生注重应试类英语的主要原因是要面对就业问题，在应届毕业生求职的硬条件里，英语四级是相当重要的一项，许多企业将其当做招聘的硬性门槛。对于大多数的职位，英语已非专业技能，而是必备的职业素质，自然被企业普遍地采用为招聘考察项目。
就工作本身的要求来看，企业中有些岗位要求你英语运用熟练，有些岗位几乎从来不会涉及英语的应用，但你进入这些企业后，从事各种岗位都有可能，学计算机的有可能会去做生产管理，学会计的有可能会去做市场，多种可能的岗位中总有对英语要求比较高的。出现这些情形有可能是你在实际的工作中对与专业无关的工作产生了兴趣，有可能是公司发掘了你从事与你专业无关工作

一、调查背景
小学阶段开设英语课程的目的是培养学生学习英语的积极情感,形成初步的英语语感，为其语音、语调打好基础，最终能使学生用所学英语进行交际。随着课程的不断改革，目标的不断改进，阅读能力的培养显得越来越重要。当前的英语阅读开展，虽方法种种，但依然存在着不尽人意的地方：如阅读量难以保证，阅读质量不易监控，阅读方法不够科学等。因此，为了让小学生能在英语阅读方面有所突破，扩大学生的阅读量，强化学生的阅读方法，使学生养成良好的英语阅读习惯，掌握正确的阅读技巧，提高学生的阅读水平，拥有主动学习的能力和合作的精神，为终身学习打下基础，，通过调查问卷了解小学高年级学生英语阅读的现状和存在的问题，以便更有效地实施课题，有效地提高学生阅读能力。
二、调查过程
1调查对象：本次问卷调查对象是高级某个班的学生。
2调查方式：本次问卷以局面问卷的方式进行，采用匿名答题，要求学生客观回答。
3.调查内容：围绕英语学习兴趣、英语阅读学习能力进行分析，进而了解学生的学习现状。这次调查采用问卷的形式，问卷内容主要涉及到学生对待英语阅读的态度、阅读方式、阅读困难、阅读习惯、课外阅读情况等方面。
围绕问卷调查设计如下：

结果统计：选择1）选项的人数占23%，为A类。选择2）选项的人数占53% ，为B类。选择3）选项的人数占24%，为C类。
从直观数字上看，B类学生的存在之多，说明学生英语学习的兴趣还是一般，越往高年级学生学习英语的兴趣越低。
分析：学生学习英语缺乏学习兴趣，认为费时、费力，成绩不能很快有大的提高。在学习中缺乏高效率，需要改善有效学习途径，提高课堂教学的效果。这一分析为此次课题研究找到好的切入点。
三、调查启示
基于对小学高年级学生英语阅读理解的问卷调查结果，我们初步找到了影响小学生英语阅读能力提高的因素，即：英语阅读动机、英语语言基础知识、文化背景知识、阅读技巧、课外阅读。因此，课题研究将致力于解决以下几个问题：构建实施小学英语阅读课的基本框架；帮助学生掌握基本阅读技巧，提高阅读能力；探索小学英语阅读教学的有效方法。
1.激发勉励学生课外进行英语阅读。十分多学生缺乏课外英语阅读的习惯，把阅读能力低的主要理由归结为词汇量太低，因此他们把大量的时间花在背单词上，认为词汇量大了，自然就读懂了，但现实中并未如此。阅读能力不但是个词汇量的难题，与学生的逻辑思维能力、研究结束语和判断能力、知识广度和熟练程度都需要有密切关系。课外英语对小学生英语水平的提升起着不行取代的作用，它能使学生有机会巩固课上所学的字词句知识，接触更多的英语习惯表达，全面形成英语思路，可行不断扩大知识面，还能在潜移默化间协助学生形成语感。
2.增强课外阅读本领的指导。在英语教学中，教适应注意传授给予学生正确的阅读方式与技能，从而让学生形成十分好的阅读习惯，这就是提升学生阅读能力的迫切必要。阅读能力的培养和提升不是一朝一夕就能实现的，必要通过长久的努力。小学阶段既然只要求学生读懂部分简易的读物.困度不大，但作为初始阶段，方式的掌握、习惯的养成却是非常十分主要的。
3.扩充阅读材料类型。阅读基本理论认为，阅读理解是文章的语言原因（词汇、语法等）和非语言原因（与文章主题相关的背景知识等）相互作用的一个动态整个过程。小学生课外阅读材料的类型过于单调，英语教学的课时数也非常有限。所以，可以经过大量阅读各式各样类型的材料来协助学生了解更多的背景知识。对于学生不知道选择怎么样的样的阅读材料这种现象，老师可依照学生的实际英语水平进行保举。
总而言之，老师要激发勉励学生积极地去寻找本身感兴趣的阅读材料，力求让学生参加到阅读这一整个过程中来；老师还可要求学生在每节课前几分钟进行读书报告请示表演，并依照表演的质量评分，作为学生的英语口试成绩，与学生的期评考试成绩挂钩。并且，老师还应增强对学生课外阅读本领的指导，继续纠正学生遇到生词就查词典的不良学习习惯，培养其猜词能力，寻找主题句和本文关键词的能力。
经过这次问卷调查，笔者发现小学中高年级学生的英语课外阅读量和阅读本领和阅读习惯、课外材料的类型等方方面面有需要完善的难题，这样一些难题的处理必要老师的指导，但纯靠老师单方面的努力是永远无法达到的，还必要家长的积极配合。相信只要咱们共同努力，在英语学习这块阵营上，学生将表现出极大的阅读热情和奋发向上的拼搏精神，英语水平将会有极大的提高。
