小泽征尔，1935年9月1日生于中国沈阳市,翌年,举家迁至北京.6岁那年(1941年)就随父母回到了日本东京.小时候的小泽征尔很想当个钢琴家,7岁就开始学钢琴,导师是日本著名钢琴家丰增升.16岁,小泽征尔以优秀的成绩考进东京桐朋学院音乐系,主修作曲专业,正逢明希率领波士顿交响乐团到日本巡演,他观后大为激动,立志要作个指挥家,于是改学指挥,拜日本著名指挥家斋藤秀雄(hideo saito)为师.经过9年的勤奋刻苦的学习,小泽征尔终于从这位严师身上学到了一套最基本的指挥方法.
小泽征尔第一次正式公开表演是在学习期间,指挥nhk交响乐团演出莫扎特的交响曲,这是他初露头角.1958年毕业.为了进一步充实自己,他只身自费远到欧洲.在巴黎,他师从指挥家比戈特(e.bigot).一次偶然的机会,小泽征尔获准参加1959年第九届法国贝桑松国际指挥大赛,荣获第一名,轰动乐坛,一夜成名.评委之一的指挥家明希非常欣赏小泽征尔的指挥才华,便邀请他到美国深造,小泽征尔又得到一次良好的学习机会,开心极了.

小泽征尔的指挥艺术,的确是十分迷人.他指挥时全身都是音乐,善于把自己与乐手们揉合在一起,以丰富的音乐修养和炽热的艺术感情去启发、带动乐手们,这正是小泽征尔指挥艺术最出色的特点.他的指挥洒脱、大方、豪放、细腻.具有惊人的音乐记忆力和令人钦佩的音乐魅力.他对音乐小说诗歌文学作品的风格、速度、色调、节奏都有很细致的分寸感,布局严谨,主题突出,曲式清楚,层次分明.他的指挥动作具有音乐形象性,从他丰富多彩的手指中迸发出来的音乐,征服了国际乐坛,使他在国际乐坛上有着稳固的地位.
出生在中国的小泽征,对中国人民有着深厚的感情.1976年12月,他应邀首次到中国进行为期一周的访问.1978年6月,小泽征尔第二次到中国访问,在北京,他首次成功地指挥了中央乐团的演出.1979年3月,小泽征尔第三次访问中国,率领美国波士顿交响乐团访华演出,给中国观众带来了丰富多采的交响乐节目.小泽征尔杰出的指挥和乐手们精湛的演奏,轰动了整个北京城.同年12月,小泽征尔对中国进行了第四次访问,仅仅利用一周的排练时间,就指挥前中央乐团演出贝多芬《第九交响曲》,取得了辉煌的成绩.1994年5月,小泽征尔第五次访问中国,在访问他的出生地沈阳之际,指挥辽宁交响乐团演出贝多芬《哀格蒙特》序曲,何占豪、陈钢《梁祝小提琴协奏曲》和德沃夏克《第九交响曲》.小泽征尔原定于5月12、13日率领bso赴北京演出,后因故无限期推迟.不过,他个人却到了北京讲学,这是他第六次访问中国.

波兰作曲家费列德里克·肖邦在1810年3月1日生于邻近华沙的热拉佐瓦-沃拉(zelazowa wola)的一个田庄里.肖邦在钢琴演奏和作曲方面的高度才赋,从小便已显露出来:六岁起开始系统学习钢琴, 七岁时发表他的第一首小说诗歌文学作品---《g小调波兰舞曲》(钢琴曲),八岁公开钢琴演奏.由于身体赢弱,肖邦到十三岁才进学校读书,但是在此之前,他在家里却毫不费力地学会各门课程,1826-1829年,他进华沙音乐学院攻读,毕业时他的平素不爱夸奖人的教师已破例称他为音乐的天才. 在中学和音乐学院期间,他还时常利用假期到波兰的许多地区旅行,仔细观察农村生活的各方面活动,聚精会神倾听民间的曲调.在他家里许多文化界来客的生动谈话中,肖邦还接触到关于波兰的历史和文学艺术等方面的许多问题.就是这样,他从生活中亲自观察到的东西,远比他的老师教给他的来得多;他对波兰民间音乐的美质的深切体会,对他的祖国葆有的诗意之情,就是在这样的环境之下,年复一年地深深铭印在他的意识之中的.1830年,由于国内政治局势动荡,肖邦动身到国外旅行,但是这一去,正如他自己的悲惨预感那样,就此同他的祖国永诀了.
肖邦到维也纳后不久,便听到华沙为抗击帝俄统治的十一月起义的消息.因此,他决定去巴黎或伦敦.当他在1831年9月途经斯图加特时,又听到华沙重又陷入俄国侵略军手里的噩耗,波兰革命失败断绝了他回国的通路,同月,肖邦到达巴黎后就此在那里定居下来.

松岛菜菜子在高一的时候被星探所发掘,通过拍摄劳动部的宣传海报而进入了演艺圈。在演过不少小角色后,她在1996年凭借一个长达151集的nhk电视剧《向日葵》打响了知名度。但菜菜子并没有因此马上红起来，因为她身高1.72米，这个高度对日本女性来说实在是个相当尴尬的数字——作模特嫌矮，作女星又太高了一些。日本不少当红的男星也不过1.7米左右，让他们和穿起高跟鞋来就高过自己的菜菜子谈情说爱，自然是太难为他们了。
