Good morning, ladies and gentlemen.

I’m very glad to make a speech here .Today my topic is “I love you , China”. Since the day I was born .I began to have a proud name---Chinese. Since the day I began to talk the most beautiful sentence I’ve ever learnt has been “I love you ,China !” I love you .China and I’m so proud of being a Chinese . I’m proud that I’ve got the beautiful yellow skin , black eyes and black hair. I’m also proud that I speak the most beautiful language is the world ----Chinese.

I love you , China . I am proud of being a Chinese with five thousand years of civilization behind .I’ve learned about the four great inventions made by our forefathers . I’ve learned about the Great Wall and the Chang Jiang River . I’ve learned about Zhang Heng and I’ve learned Zheng He.

中国，是一个美丽的地方。那有着悠久的历史富饶的土的土地，勤劳，勇敢，自强不息的人民。我为自己是一个中国人而感到骄傲。

但是，谁又能忘记共和国历史上一段段刻骨铭心的屈辱史呢?这让我想起了1860年10月6日英法联军闯入北京圆明园的事件。当时他们把圆明园内凡是能拿走的，统统掠走，拿不动的就用牲口搬运，实在运不走的就任意毁坏。最可恶的就是10月18日和19日他们为了销毁证据，竟然放火烧了圆明园。这一艺术瑰宝、建筑艺术的精神，就化成了一片灰烬。现在给我们留下的只是几根孤零零的柱子和无尽的愤怒与遗憾的愤怒与遗憾。

还有鸦片战争，在1840年6月第一次开始了鸦片战争，当时英过胜利了，签定了<<南京条约》，它规定中国割让香港岛，赔偿2100万西班牙银元，广州、厦门、神州、宁波、上海五个口岸城市对外通商，此外，英国还享有协议关税。随后，又签订了《望厦条约》《黄埔条约》，五千年来，中华民族从未受过如此巨大的屈辱。

who are regarded as the successful. and the most obvious characteristics of hem are money, high position and luxurious life. so most people believe that s success and all that they do is for this purpose. but the problem is wether it is real success. we all know there are always more money, higher position and better condition in front of us. if we keep chasing them, where is the end? what will satisfy us at last? therefore, we can see, to get the real success we must need something inside, which is the realization of

people’ hopes and ideals.

different people have different ideas about success; cause people’s hopes and ideas vary from one another. but i am sure every success is dear to everybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cause in the process of our striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility. these are the best treasures. so now i am very proud that i have this opportunity to stand here speaking to all of you. it is my success, cause i raise up to challenge my hope.

as students, we could share more time with our friends. the friendship in our young hearts is pure, fresh and simple. i often feel very lucky to have a lot of good friends. especially when i had justin as one of my best friends. justin was my english teacher from the usa. i met him in when i was a student who could only speak very little english. justin was a vivid young man with a bright smile on his face, and he always had his special way to make the class active and attractive. he taught us english by telling stories, playing games, singing songs, and even dancing.

i could still remember very clearly that one afternoon when we fin-ished our class, we went to some other classes to sing songs for them, just like what people do in the states on christmas eve. it was so interesting and unforgettable. justin was an excellent teacher, because he taught us not only how to study english well, but also the way to find out the beauty of the world and the way to be angels to others' lives. i know there was friendship and pure love in our hearts. facing this valuable emotion neither nationality nor age was important, the real importance lay in faith, under-standing, and care. justin is the best friend i have ever had, and i know i will cherish those days of staying together with him as the best part of my memory.

friendship is a kind of treasure in our lives. it is actually like a bottle of wine, the longer it is kept, the sweeter it will be. it is also like a cup of tea. when we are thirsty, it will be our best choice, but when we have enough time to enjoy ourselves, it is also the most fragrant drink.

however, in this fast-developing modern society, the reality is not that. more and more people forget to enjoy the beauty of life and -the beauty of friendship. they work hard in order to gain a higher position, in the society and to earn more money for their work. of course, we don't deny that it is important to find a bet-ter place in our lives, but we wish more and more people could pay a little more attention to themselves and their friends. all of us have to spare some time for personal lives. we have to find the chance to express our emotion and love. when staying with our friends, we can release ourselves completely. we can do whatever we want, we can laugh together, talk together, and even cry to-gether. i should say that being together with our best friends is the most wonderful moment of our lives.

so i just published a book about introversion, and it took me about seven years to write. and for me, that seven years was like total bliss, because i was reading, i was writing, i was thinking, i was researching. it was my version of my grandfather's hours of the day alone in his library. but now all of a sudden my job is very different, and my job is to be out here talking about it, talking about introversion. (laughter) and that's a lot harder for me, because as honored as i am to be here with all of you right now, this is not my natural milieu.

so i prepared for moments like these as best i could. i spent the last year practicing public speaking every chance i could get. and i call this my “year of speaking dangerously.“ (laughter) and that actually helped a lot. but i'll tell you, what helps even more is my sense, my belief, my hope that when it comes to our attitudes to introversion and to quiet and to solitude, we truly are poised on the brink on dramatic change. i mean, we are. and so i am going to leave you now with three calls for action for those who share this vision.

number one: stop the madness for constant group work. just stop it. (laughter) thank you. (applause) and i want to be clear about what i'm saying, because i deeply believe our offices should be encouraging casual, chatty cafe-style types of interactions -- you know, the kind where people come together and serendipitously have an exchange of ideas. that is great. it's great for introverts and it's great for extroverts. but we need much more privacy and much more freedom and much more autonomy at work. school, same thing. we need to be teaching kids to work together, for sure, but we also need to be teaching them how to work on their own. this is especially important for extroverted children too. they need to work on their own because that is where deep thought comes from in part.

尊敬的各位领导、各位评委、亲爱的老师同学们：

大家好!我是逸挥学校的刘琴琴。我很荣幸能参加这次演讲比赛，我演讲的题目是——《法在我身边》

“法是由国家制定或认可，并强制遵守的法律、法令、条例等行为规则的总称”。这是《新华字典》上对法的解释，但是这样的解释对于年少的我总感觉有些抽象、有些模糊。我曾一度陷入迷茫：“法”，你是什么呢?你究竟在哪里?

渐渐的，我长大了，明白了一些道理，比如说：父母不可以随意打骂儿女，在法律上讲这是禁止家庭暴力;父母不可以随便看儿女的日记，这是尊重他人的隐私权;同学们犯错误了，教师不可以变相体罚、侮辱学生;买到假冒商品要打投诉电话12315;工厂随意排放污水，是违犯了环境保护法……法真是无处不在，无时不有啊。

在我们生活中，许多青少年因为不知法，不守法以至于把自己的美好前途给毁了。据有关部门统计，去年我国未成年人犯罪已占全部刑事案件的10%，这是一串多么令人痛心的数字!

湖南电视台曾经报道过，有一个农村的青年，原来读小学时成绩很棒，一直是班里的前几名。他经过自己的努力，考到城里来读初中。他刚开始的成绩也很不错，老师经常表扬他，他也很体贴父母，自己很用功。直到有一天，他路过一个网吧，由于好奇，他走进网吧，“好刺激啊!好好玩啊!”他兴奋地说。时间一天天过去了，渐渐地，他跟变了个人似的，整天沉迷于网络游戏，经常向朋友借钱上网，很久都不还。后来他的朋友也不借钱给他了，于是他就开始骗父母，向父母要钱。后来他的父母知道了，就不再给他钱了，于是他走向了犯罪的道路，刚开始是偷同学家的钱，后来在公交车上偷钱，被人暴打了一顿，但他仍然不知悔改，进而发展到抢劫，还杀了人，于是被警察叔叔抓走了，走到了一个黑暗的世界，等待他的，将是法律的制裁。

其实法就在我们身边，有许多案例让我留下了很深刻的印象。前不久，江西一个中学，一个学生在上楼梯时，推倒同学后造成6人死29人重伤的悲惨结局;今年五一节前，陕西一所高级中学的一个高三级学生，因一件小事与班长发生矛盾，竟然对班长连砍数刀致死，离高考仅仅一个月左右的时间了，学校被迫停课，这严重影响了大批学生的学习生活;在广东今日一线节目中报到过一个花季少女父母去世后，与叔叔和婶婶生活在一起，遭遇家庭暴力被打成重伤。群众报警后，她的叔叔被捕了。这个少女认为自己“害”了叔叔，认为没脸活下去而跳河自尽了……

这一个个真实的悲剧就发生在校园，就发生在我们身边，真的让人感到心痛，感到惋惜。

再看看现在的社会吧，有的执法者滥用职权，徇私舞弊，贪赃王法，有的企业家为谋取暴利将法抛于脑后，违法生产经营，大肆造假售假，损害国家和人民的利益;还有的人为了不劳而获，怨恨抱复，把法置之度外，甚至还杀人放火、抢劫、横行霸市等等。虽然，这些违法行为必将受到法律的严厉制裁，但是这些行为却对社会造成了无法弥补的伤害。

所以，我们只有努力学习科学文化知识，增强法律意识，在避免犯罪的同时，我们也应该拿起法律武器来维护自己的合法权益，为自己创造一个安全、健康的生活环境和学习环境。只有现在认真学法，才能在未来做一个懂法的人。因为只有懂法，才能成为一个守法的公民;只有我们自己守法，才能拿起法律武器来保护自己的权利，进而借助法律维护他人的权益，维护国家的利益，维护法律至高无尚的尊严!

青少年是祖国的未来，是祖国的希望，但又是一个极其复杂而特殊的团体，如果我们不从小培养我们的法律意识，不知法、不懂法、不护法，那么依法治国就将永远是一句空话!

同学们，朋友们，让我们一起积极学习法律知识，增强法律意识，在生活中以法律为准绳，注意自己的一言一行，从我做起，从小事做起，做一个懂法、知法、守法的好公民!

every one of us, rich or poor, should at least have one or two good friends. my friends will listen to me when i want to speak, will wipe my eyes when i cry, will take care of me when i am sick, and my friends will go together with me side by side through this journey of life.

but in this fast-developing modern society, the reality is not that. more and more people forget to enjoy the beauty of friendship. they work hard in order to gain a higher position in the society and to earn more money for their work. they have few time to share with their friends. with the time goes by, they will be far away from each other.
