I think first you should find a topic that both of you are interested in. Then, pay attention to your manners, speed, pitch, expressions and your body language. You should make others feel comfortable, so that they are willing to talk to you. Last but not the least, being a good listener. Listening to others shows your respect to them. Only when they heard, they want to talk. So do you. Before you talk, listening to others first.

城市的夜晚，总有灯光的陪伴，以至不会太孤独。那些伫立的高楼，住着“无眠”的人家，久久不能进入梦乡……
深夜，总是一个人迈着急促的步子回家。那一路上，心总是空虚的，没有任何东西去填满那空空的位置。眼睛盯着的只是脚下的路，从来没有把视线扩展到影子以外的地方，那是因为周边的景色没有生命的色彩，冷冷的，让人害怕。
这一夜，却不同。
带着失望与疲惫的心情出了教室。路过那空旷的操场，不禁仰起头。在离我很远的地方，星星依旧那么快活地眨着眼，散发的光在向谁诉说着温情？它们曾是我童年时最可爱的伙伴。仰望夜空，是它给了我一缕安慰。
出了校门，似乎解开了心灵的枷锁，那沉重的压力被我抛在了校园里，滞留在操场上那片小小的天空。我放慢脚步，开始寻找，寻找那充满生命力的绿色，它是我奋斗下去的力量，是快乐的精灵。我想可能是因为我与它分离太久，也许是因为它在梦中召唤了我的缘故，我迫切地想知道它在哪，我感觉到它一定离我不远。脚步开始一步比一步慢，视野开始像水中的涟漪一样一个圈一个圈地扩大。丢下往日的恐惧，我不停地寻找，沿着那堵与建筑隔开的矮墙寻找，不放过任何一个小角落，因为那里有它的气息。它，就在我的不远处，那充满活力的绿色。
在墙的尽头，我听到了它的声音，依旧那么熟悉，那么亲切。我急切地冲上去，一抹绿色呈现在我的眼前，吸引了我整个眼球。使我忆起曾经与它“约会”的美好时光。我终于找到了它，它是那一片片不知名的小叶子重叠成的一个整体，那是一团珍稀的“生命”。我注视着它，依偎着，伸手轻轻地抚摸它的每个部位，叶片是凉凉的，我却觉得好温暖。
当灯光开始渐渐微弱时，它向周围的伙伴道晚安，也向我甜甜地道了一声“晚安”。可我没有睡意，依恋它的活力与温暖，站在那里，静静地，小心地呼吸，怕惊扰它的美梦。微黄的灯光撒下一片光芒给它披上，是怕它感冒吧。那一片片绿绿的叶子泛着光晕，睡得很安稳，我注视着它闭着双眼，那样子可爱而动人。
从背包里取出那本记载着我成长历程的蓝色日记本，然后拾起躺在地上的几片绿绿的叶子，小心地夹在中间的那一页。背着这小生命幸福地回家。
将蓝色日记本放入枕头底下，枕着这一抹绿意进入甜甜的梦乡……

南昌起义，是中国历史的转折，但如果没有周恩来，朱德，刘伯承历史性选择了反抗国民党，选择打响武装反抗国民党统治的第一枪，也许现在的中国，会是另外一个中国！还会有我们现在的小康社会吗？还会有世界上发展最快的国家吗？还会有我们的可敬可爱的祖国吗？独立战争，是美国历史的转折，但如果美国人惮于英国人的坚船利炮，而不选择反对压迫，争取独立，勇猛战争，那么，还会有苹果公司的存在吗，还会有尼米兹级航空母舰吗吗？还会有闻名世界的哈弗大学吗？还会有世界最繁华纽约吗？还会有世界上唯一一个超级国家吗？没有！都没有！
牛顿，正因为选择了追究苹果的落地的根源，发现了万有引力定律，成为物理学界的泰斗。
拿破仑，正因为选择了战争，征服了欧洲，成为了欧洲的霸主。
袁隆平，正因为选择了在土地上搞科研，解决了世界的温饱问题，成为了中国人的骄傲。
