教师传授四大妙招 高中英语不再难
“传闻说高中的英语学习与初中差别很大，这是真的吗?”面对家长们的疑问，吕老师肯定了这一说法。
“《新课标》要求初中英语教学在听、说、读、写方面只需达到五级要求，而高中英语教学则要求达到八级。”吕老师曾经做过中考阅卷老师，他告诉大家，中考一篇13分左右的优秀作文放到高考中，那显然是要不及格的。
当然除了难度的增加，在吕老师眼中，老师的授课方式和学生的学习方式也是初高中教与学的一大差异。
吕老师举了一个例子。杭州实施初、高中分离多年，很多高中老师并没有教过初中，因此对初中的教材体系和教学要求并不熟悉，他们有的甚至会在高一一开始便实行全英文授课，这对于习惯了初中英语老师中英文穿插方式讲课的学生们来说，是一项挑战。
而在学生的学习方式方面，初中的时候，部分学生学习的依赖性较强，习惯于被动地听老师对课文逐句解释、教读生词，而到了高中，碰到一篇阅读理解，其中个别句子不理解，题目就无法做下去。
注重语音基础，学会用自然拼读法
在教学的过程中发现，很多高一新生对音标不甚了解。这造成的直接后果就是发音不标准，相互间用英语交流，双方都无法了解对方想表达的意思。所以建议大家，一定要注重语音基础，熟悉音标。
此外，熟悉音标还有利于单词的拼写记忆。比如单词comprehension(理解)，很多学生在记的时候都是将它拆分成13个字母分别记，所以常常可以看到同学们不是将单词中几个字母的顺序颠倒，就是拼到一半拼不下去。如果熟悉音标，完全可以按音标读音来记：com-pre-hen-sion，这就是自然拼读法。记住了这种方法，记单词就省力多了。
注重词汇的积累，掌握构词法
高中阶段对学生的要求是掌握6000个词汇。很多同学看到这个数字，都不免备感忧虑。
对此，吕老师有好办法——构词法。构词法有很多种，吕老师专门介绍了其中一种派生法，就是在词根前面加前缀或在词根后面加后缀构成新词的方法。
比如在某些单词前面加一些如dis-, mis-, im-, in-, ir-等的词缀，就会构成与该词意义相反的新词。appear出现→disappear消失，correct正确的→incorrect不正确的，lead带领→mislead误导……
这种方法记单词速度快，效率高，而且可以让词汇量储量以几何倍数增加。
认真听课，重视阅读和口语能力的培养
“高中的课堂上，老师不会像初中老师那样对课文逐句解释、教读生词以及进行过多的语法解析，而是更注重学生的阅读能力和口头表达能力。”吕老师说，他在教学生阅读的时候通常会问这篇文章的大意是什么?每一段的主题句是什么?文章一共可以分成几个部分?某个单词在这个语境中是什么意思……而老师问的这几个问题都是引导同学们去理解文章的切入点。所以同学们一定要重视阅读，如果这些问题能解答了，说明同学们这篇文章就看懂了。
另一方面，同学们也要化被动为主动，积极举手发言，因为这不仅可以判断自己是否吃透这篇文章，更是对自己口语能力的锻炼。
勤预习复习，整理错题，养成好习惯
吕老师认为，英语是一种输入性语言，要求学习者达到一种习得性的效果，形成语言能力，这就需要内力的推动。所以要学好英语必须做好自主预习和复习。
在心理学中，有一条著名的“艾滨浩斯遗忘曲线”，观察曲线轨迹，我们会发现对于新学的知识，有90%会在一两天内遗忘，只有10%的会被最终记住。所以想要将新学的知识转化成自己的，上完课后第一时间进行复习很重要。
