多看点英语方面的报纸，电影和音乐，这些都是对英语学习很有陶冶作用的。在这些陶冶中，不是光看就完了，一定要有意识地去从中吸取有用的东西。比如要试图多去记记里面常用的有用的东西，短语，常用词，很偏激的东西不要记，这样的陶冶事实上也是一种学习，并且对口语和听力都很有帮助。
平时英语学习需要注意以下细节：
1.平时不理解的要多问老师，但注意不要钻牛角尖，语言有些东西是约定俗成的，无道理，似有规律又无规律(比如动词的过去分词)。
2.听力完全是多听提高的，打个比方，英语考试的听力有时再努力听也听不懂，但是晨会上老师的演讲，你哪怕是跟同学聊天聊过去了，你也知道老师讲的是什么。因为那是你熟悉的母语，不努力听也懂。那么，就多听英语吧!多听就会多熟悉，单词懂得越多，听不懂的就越少，这是必然的。
